Co-teaching experience: Spring 2015: Academic Earth Science at Rancho Buena Vista High School in Vista, CA Fall 2014: College Prep Marine Science at Carlsbad High School. I have a B.S. in Oceanography from Florida Tech and studied Coastal Geology at Univ. of N.C. Wilmington while working as a research technician studying barrier island processes and hurricane impacts on North Carolina beaches. For 13 years I worked for Surfrider Foundation, helping volunteers all over the country protect their favorite beaches and coasts. Now I'm using all that I have learned to teach the next generation.
