Lucidchart in the classroom
Lucidchart was recently added as a tool inside Vista USD's Google Apps, and shows great promise for use in the classroom. This is an AppSlam I made as a quick demonstration of what Lucidchart can do. It is a very powerful online drawing and diagramming tool that can be used in the classroom to create many types of graphic organizers, flow charts and concept maps. During the Spring semester of 2015 I had my Earth Science students use Lucidchart on their Chromebooks to create drawings showing the movement and balance of the sun's energy as it interacts with the earth and atmosphere. The students were able to document their learning and continue to add to their drawings throughout the unit.
